FAQs

It’s easy peasy to PayZe. To make it even easier, we’ve answered your most common questions.

Buying a PayZe Card
How does PayZe work?

Your PayZe card can be used to pay for purchases in New Zealand and overseas wherever UnionPay cards are accepted. The purchase amount and charges (if any) are deducted from the card’s available balance.  You now have two options and a range of designs to choose from.  A straight gift card which allows a single load, or our new reloadable cards which you can top up at any time.

How do I get a PayZe Gift card?

At this stage you can only purchase PayZe card online through our website https://payze.nz or through https://giveagiftcard.co.nz

How do I get a PayZe Reload card?

How is my PayZe card delivered?

The card is delivered by secure courier to the recipient’s physical address you provided when placing the order. Note that we cannot deliver cards to PO boxes.

Gift Card or Reloadable - what should I choose?

Typically a gift card is purchased for a ‘single event’ such as a birthday gift, and while PayZe gift cards may be used multiple times until the balance is used up and expire after a certain period they cannot be reloaded.  With our PayZe Reload cards, you buy once, and in conjunction with the PayZe Wallet, you can top up from your bank account as often as you want.

How much can I load on my PayZe card?

Each PayZe card can be purchased with a maximum of NZ$1,000 on each card with a total of 5 cards in any one purchase transaction.  If you choose a PayZe Reload Card, you can top up the balance at any time through our payment gateway (fees apply) or from your NZ bank account (no fees) through the PayZe Wallet.  If you are reloading by bank transfer, you must ensure you enter the CUSTOMER NUMBER in the Reference field so we can correctly allocate your funds.  To make it easier, set up PayZe as a payee in your bank with the appropriate card number in the Reference field.

Can I order multiple PayZe cards at the same time?

Yes, you can order up to 5 cards in one order with a maximum value on each card of NZ$1,000 and a maximum transaction value of NZ$5,000 (excluding additional charges such as card charges, handling, courier, and any GST). We welcome larger orders, and we offer a co-brand custom service as well. Please contact [email protected]
